I love the word community. To me, it means a shared feeling of friendship, trust and responsibility. You take care of the people in your community, you share resources – like a cup of sugar, a chain saw, or a shoulder to cry on when disaster strikes. Or, it may be that your community isn’t even in the “real” world, but through shared conversations on FaceBook or in those weird virtual reality sites. I suppose a community could be bad, like the Mafia, but I prefer to think of community as a positive and supportive sort of thing that brings out the best in people.
